Trystan Cruz needs our support
Donation protected
*UPDATE BELOW*
Hello,
On Tuesday, April 11th, Trystan Cruz was struck by a car while he was driving home on his motorcycle. He was found not breathing and did not have a pulse. He was taken to Harborview Medical Hospital with bleeding in the brain, broken bones and internal injuries and was placed on a ventilator. He has already endured several surgeries and there are more to come. At this time, he is still relying on a breathing tube.
Trystan has grown up in our FME community, played football and graduated from FHS. He is a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, but most importantly right now he is a fighter. We need to stand with him and his family and fight alongside them They need our prayers and our support in his journey for a full recovery.
“Many hands make light work”! One of the ways we can help support is to lessen the financial burden of ongoing medical expenses that are quickly climbing. Please consider giving so that the family can focus all of their time, energy, and attention to his recovery!
Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting this amazing young man and his family-

*UPDATE* 05/05 Trystan is home and starting on his road to recovery. He is talking and putting together the events that have transpired. He is not able to use his left side (he is left-handed) so he is learning to use his right hand and a wheelchair with assistance. He is experiencing head tremors and cranial leakage among other challenges.
Trystan read each and every name on the donation page and was so touched by the outpour of support! Thank you to everyone that has donated and if you haven't shared the page yet and wouldn't mind doing so please share as his needs are increasing.
*UPDATE* 04/20 Ventilator has been removed, Trystan is now receiving oxygen through a nasal cannula and a feeding tube has been placed.
