T's Baseball Journey...

Hi, my name is Rebeca. I'm a single mommy of 3 amazing "kids" (2 of them are on the older side but they're students) this is my son Tyler, he's 13 ane he's my only boy... He's always wanted to play baseball but because of one thing or another he's never had the chance to do so.

Luckily for this season he received a grant from T-Mobile to help pay for his registration fees. Unfortunately we are one of the many families that were impacted by the floods here in San Diego. After being evacuated from our apartment into a hotel and then back to our apartment, in between having to spend a lot of money on take out and having to replace a lot of items in our home my savings now are basically non-existent.

The amazing grant we received covered the fees and the shirt for his uniform but he needs so many other things that I cannot afford at the moment.

He wears glasses and needs a special pair for sports that are shatter proof, also baseball pants, cleets, a helmet, a glove, baseball gloves, a baseball bat, baseball bag, amongst other things. But what I've mentioned above are the most expensive.

So I'm reaching out to the community to see if you can help us kick off this baseball season.

The amount that we're asking for will cover the basics and help him start off this Saturday with the rest of the team. We would greatly appreciate any support you can give is, if not by donating maybe you could share the page.
