TS Kanimbla Parents Committee

TS Kanimbla is a Unit of the Australian Navy Cadets (ANC) based at Holsworthy Army Barracks, Holsworthy New South Wales.

The Australian Navy Cadets is a leading provider of youth development experiences. They aim to build teamwork and leadership skills in young people through adventure, maritime activities and quality learning opportunities.

Adventure and fun are the key ingredients for all camping, water sport and team challenge activities. Cadets will get to learn how to sail, navigate and gain skills in everything from information technology, communications, cooking, first aid, marching, seamanship and many more exciting activities.

Whilst the Australian Navy Cadets is sponsored by the Royal Australian Navy, the costs for extra-circular activities and other items, such as the following are not covered:

• Backpacks, Unit T-shirts & Hoodies

• Registration and maintenance of Unit Owner Watercraft & Trailers

• End of year Awards Dinner and Break-up Activity

• Public Liability Insurance

In previous years, the Unit Support Committee has raised funds for the unit by holding Bunnings BBQs, chocolate drives and various other fund-raising activities. However, this year, due to the COVID-19 situation and restrictions all our fund-raising activities have been cancelled.
