Acoustic Blues Event in memory of Tony TS McPhee

Following the sad death in June 2023, of Tony (TS) McPhee one of the foremost blues musicians in Britain. We would like to organise an ACOUSTIC BLUES event in his memory.

Having been inducted as a ‘Master Blues Artist’ in the ‘Blues Hall of Fame’, and recognised as a ‘British Blues Great’ by the British Blues Awards in 2012. 'T.S' McPhee was the frontman of British Blues and rock group 'The Groundhogs', with a career that spanned several decades and included three top ten albums.

In order to succeed we need to build a team of people who are able to give their time and talents and secure professional musicians, location, technicians and funding. In order to do this we need some finance to get this off the ground. This initial fundraiser is to pay for deposits, advertising and promotional materials.

We would hope to hold the event over 1 day in late summer 2024, in or around Wellington Telford, where he lived happily for over 20 years.
