Help Me Go to Drama School!

Hello! Thank you for clicking on my page.

After 4 years of auditioning I have been offered a place on the BA Acting course at my dream school Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. The fees for the course are £15,105 per year. Even with a student loan, I will need to fund £9000 per year myself.

I have applied for scholarships but I am still awaiting confirmation. I am also going to be doing a fundraising concert with pieces of work written by both me and friends as well as pre-existing material. If you would be interested in attending, I'm going to shortly be adding a link to tickets on this page.

Anything that you would be able to donate I would be immensely grateful for. I want to continue to grow myself as an artist and further my own individual process whilst also being surrounded by likeminded people. It would honestly mean the world and be a dream come true to study on this course. Thank you for your consideration.

A little bit about me...

My name is Isabella Kelly and I am just about to turn 21. Growing up in a large household and family, the idea of being surrounded by people and a community that supports and inspires each other is something that has always given me a sense of purpose. Performing arts is somewhere in which I have always found a similarity to this feeling and is why I continue to be a part of it.

Education and Experience:

Over the three years I attended Pendleton School of Theatre I gained a triple D*, The Most Improved Award on the BTEC Musical Theatre course and a Distinction on the HNC Musical Theatre course. These grades are a testament to my excellent work ethic, ambitious mindset and enthusiasm for my studies.

Whilst at Pendleton I was a part of the contemporary choir and performed at venues including the King's College Chapel. I also took part in season shows such as Legally Blonde and One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest in which I played Nurse Ratchet.

In my year away from formal education I was signed with Industry Castings and got the opportunity to be a background artist on shows such as Coronation Street, Cobra and The Long Shadow.

This year I have had the pleasure of being a part of the Mountview Foundation course in Manchester. Already I’ve seen a massive improvement in myself as a performer as the course has opened me up to new ways of approaching work and helped me in starting to develop a process personal to me in regards to performing.
