Please Help Maddie

Hi, my name is Heather and my niece Madison Melendez was born on June 10, 2021 to the parents of Melissa Melendez & Mike Whipple and the granddaughter of Joe & Cheryl Melendez. Unfortunately she has been in the hospital ever since, and has not had a single night at home. She has a really rare heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome . The left side of her heart is severely undeveloped so she needs to go under a total of 3 very very extensive surgeries. Well that’s what we were told when she was born. It’s been a little over a year and she has actually had more then that.

After Madison was born, we got hit with unexpected news that she needed surgery on her esophagus (she was only a day old). The esophagus needed to be repaired to attach to the stomach. It’s been a long road and this little girl has been fighting and still is. Now more then ever we need help and prayer’s. Her parents got the news that unfortunately she might not make it another week and right now were scared , worried, hurt , pretty much every emotion you can think of. We are praying their wrong and a miracle happens. Your support , prayers and any help given is beyond appreciated more then you know. I’m writing this with such a heavy heart in hopes that our little fighter keeps fighting!
