For the Loving Parents of Gianna Gifford
Donation protected
My name is Bill Whitlow. I own a construction company called HOMEMASTERS, and this morning (5/21/2019) at 4:00am, the 3-year-old daughter of one of my young employees passed away.
Gianna Gifford became ill a couple months ago with a common flu, but an infection set into her lungs and things became more and more complicated. Michael and his wife Miriam stayed by their daughter's side throughout her illness and missed 4 weeks of income during her hospitalization.
I was able to visit the Giffords at the hospital yesterday. Seeing Michael was difficult for me because my wife and I remember vividly how it felt to be in their shoes when we nearly lost our son to a brain injury. We can only imagine what they are feeling now.
You may know that same feeling of helplessness and the question Michael's friends, family, and co-workers are facing: WHAT CAN WE DO?
In addition to the loss of their youngest child, these loving parents are now struggling to cover medical and living expenses, and will likely be leaving their beloved home due to financial hardship resulting from the last month.
We hope this will serve as a practical way to show our love and support for them both as a company and a community. Anything you can give to help this wonderful family is more than appreciated.
Much love to them and to all who supporter them,
-Bill & Hannah Whitlow,
& the HOMEMASTERS Team
