T-Shirts for 2025 Doug Meyers Invitational

Donation protected
Hello - my name is Angie, and Doug Meyers was my little brother. He died from brain cancer in 2003 at the age of 30.

Every year, our family is honoured by the Lake Louise Ski Clubs when they continue to host a race in his name.

The event has grown from less than 50 racers in 2004 to over 300 in recent years. This year the registration is already over 400! The racers range in age from 4 years to 12 years. Doug would have LOVED this event, especially all the new and special things the club has added to make it a festival atmosphere while still having a racing component.

Our favourite part of the whole weekend is the "Parade of Yellow" as all the racers are given yellow t-shirts and ski down the front side of the mountain in a "snake", similar to what Doug did with his racers when he was the head of the Nancy Greene Ski program for the Lake Louise Ski Club. It is an event that you never forget once you see it!

Our family and friends have supplied the t-shirts every year and we hope you can help us again this year. Any amount can help! Please feel free to donate here, or send me an e-transfer directly

If you are around the weekend of April 4th/5th, join us at Lake Louise. The parade happens on Sunday afternoon and you can watch it from the base of the mountain

Thanks to all who continue to support us in this amazing event
XOXO
The Meyers Family
