Hi, my name is Lia…LET’S HELP KEEP THE BLUES ALIVE! Congratulations! to TAL NACCARATO, who JUST WON the Long Island Blues Society '22 Solo/Duo Competition, and is now off to Memphis to compete in 'The Blues Foundation' International Blues Challenge. '23, to be held January 24-28, 2023 on historic Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee (details to follow.).

This event is a NON-PROFIT enterprise. ALL travel and lodging expenses for this extremely costly competition are shouldered entirely by the competing musicians, along with any generous help they may receive from benefactors like you! There is no stipend or pay for any of the performers. Help Keep The Blues Alive! Thanks!

The Blues Foundation is world-renowned as THE organization dedicated to preserving blues music history and celebrating recording and performance. The highly competitive, super-charged 'Blues Challenge' is the Blues Foundation's signature event that turns all of Beale Street into a five-day big blues venue for more than 260 Blues acts from around the world.

The International Showcase will open the event with competition rounds in venues along Beale Street's world-famous music row. It will conclude with competition finalists performing at the National Register of Historic Places, state-of-the-art Orpheum Theater.
