Tsunami Relief for Tonga

All funds raised will be sent to the LDS Humanitarian Funds (it will be specified that they are specifically for Tonga) 

 

Hello friends, family, strangers.

 

Tonga was very recently DEVASTATED by a Tsunami that occurred due to a volcanic eruption. Thousands of homes, buildings, streets and coastline were destroyed. Many families were barely able to escape let alone grab necessities in order to survive. I am Tongan and I've lived in Tonga and I am asking you to help save my people. These funds will not be donated directly to my family but will be donated to the LDS HUMANITARIAN FUNDS (it will be specified that they are specifically for Tonga).

 

Many Tongans will not have access to food, clean water, clothes, and much, much, more because the waves have carried it all away. I am asking you to sacrifice the price of one happy meal or maybe a new shirt. If all of us gave even just $5 we could relieve SO many affected families and individuals who will have to try and rebuild their lives with next to nothing. These funds will go towards helping pay for items like food, hygiene products, and other necessities that will be a scarcity.
