Sonia’s fight against Cancer

I am reaching out for help from my friends, family, and community on behalf of a dear friend of mine. She is 35 years young with 4 beautiful children ages 16, 15, 13, and 11. If you know Sonia, you know she is one of the most thoughtful, compassionate, and loving people you will ever meet. She is strong, resilient and brave.
After 2 years of Chemotherapy and 6 rounds of radiation, her most recent diagnosis is Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer, that has metastasized to her brain and bones. This means she will undergo treatment for the rest of her life until treatment no longer works.
Sonia works 2 jobs, while in active treatment, to provide for her children, in a single parent home, and to keep up with her medical bills and prescriptions, which cost roughly $2000 a month after insurance. She was recently advised by her doctor to cut back on the hours she works to provide her body the rest it needs. This will cut her income nearly in half, leaving her with almost no way to financially provide.
In addition to the slew of medical bills she needs to pay, and assistance with living expenses, she also has so many memories left to create with her children while she is still here with us! Her prognosis is dependent on whether or not treatment works and for how long! We need prayers that treatment is successful and gives her many more years to watch her children grow up.
While she is not usually the one to ask for assistance, she needs all the help she can get during this battle with cancer. Thank you in advance for all of your support whether it be monetary or simply sharing this to help spread the word.
