TTU Steel Bridge to Nationals Trip

At the 2017 regional competition in El Paso, the ASCE steel bridge team competed against 17 other colleges from Texas and Mexico and qualified for the national competition for the first time in a decade!  Students must design, fabricate, and build a 20 foot bridge that has to hold up 2500 lbs!  In doing so, students are exposed to applications where they can apply their in class knowledge hands on.
The national competition is located at Oregon State University.  Hotel, travel, and other costs have exceeded the normal budget for the year.  Aside from go-fund-me, the team is fundraising locally in Lubbock.
The competition is in late May but funds are needed by the end of April.  Please help us get to Oregon so we can make history once again!
