Life saving treatment

Hi everyone,
This fundraising page was set up to help Rebecca Williamson, a 22 year old mother, who was recently diagnosed with a massive inoperable brain tumour. She is a brave young mother who has already gone through so much heartache when she lost her Mum Nicky, 10 years ago to Pancreatic cancer. Her brother Ryan suffered from Marfan Syndrome and needed open heart surgery to replace his aortic valve. He died 2 years ago, shortly after complications with the operation, leaving a son with Marfan Syndrome and Albinism. Rebecca has not had things easy and we were so happy when she had her little boy Carter last year, only for Carter to be in and out of hospital with breathing problems since his birth. It is his first birthday today and we have had a party for him in the Hospital, where his Mum is being treated.
As Rebecca’s tumour is in a hard to reach area of the brain, the only treatment the NHS can offer is radiation to try and reduce the tumour. Rebecca is a young mother who has been through so much in her short life and deserves to have some happiness and her family have been looking at other ways to get rid of the tumour. We have recently been told about laser treatment where the neurosurgeon can pinpoint and treat hard to reach areas of the brain, killing cells to ensure no healthy tissues is damaged.
This revolutionary treatment brings together Visualase technology with robotics through a keyhole approach and provides patients with advanced MRI-guided thermal laser ablation. Visualase has been available in other countries for some time but has only just become available in the UK. It is not funded on the NHS and only available at one hospital in London.
Please, please help us raise £50,000 for treatment to get Rebecca fit and healthy and back to her baby boy Carter.
This money needs to be raised as quickly as possible, so if you can help please donate. Thank you so much for your help.
