For David Van Duyn

Our brother David has recently undergone quadruple bi-pass surgery on his heart. This was an unexpected and abrupt emergency that has significantly altered his life. Even through this season the the Lord has been kind to keep and sustain not only David's physical body, but his faith in Christ and we are rejoicing alongside him as evidences of God's grace continue to shine through this trial.

The immediate impact of this reality was large medical bills and a prolonged period where David is unable to work. (While he has health insurance through his work he had not been enrolled for a full calendar year in order to qualify for benefits and thus was personally stuck with large medical bills). This is a challenge in more ways than one. After ongoing discussions with his city group, we believe this is an opportunity for the church to step in as brothers and sisters and care for our brother by linking arms and bearing one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2). We are looking to raise $6,000 to help cover our brothers current and upcoming expenses while he recovers.
