Send Tuba-Tom to International Band Camp

I (Aubrey Kenny) created this page for my younger cousin, Tom Silvey (seen in the photo above) to try and raise money to cover the entire cost of the international band program he has been invited to perform in during the summer of 2014.

Tom is an excellent tuba player and all around wonderful person. He is first chair brass in his Junior High School band and was given a scholarship to attend Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp (BLFAC) in northern Michigan this past summer 2013. I was able to go see him perform at Blue Lake and was blown away by the entire band! I am so impressed by his dedication to playing and his love of music. After attending Blue Lake's camp in Michigan, Tom received an invitation from Blue Lake to participate in their International Exchange 2014 Band. This program would give him the opportunity to go on tour and to perform in the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

I couldn't possibly be more proud of Tom! He has worked so hard and is so dedicated. If I had enough money to pay for this trip, I would do it in a heartbeat! He is so passionate about his music and so deserving of this trip, I pray that people will help him to cover the cost of this trip.

The trip itself costs $6,800.00 but I set the fundraising goal at $7,000.00 because the extra $200 will cover the cost of his passport and performing uniforms. EVERY SINGLE PENNY donated will go DIRECTLY to cover the cost of Tom's trip, and every penny counts!!

Please help give Tom the experience of a lifetime at BLFAC International Exchange Band Camp!!!
