Tucker’s Tale towards treatment

Some of you know our Tucker and our journey of regression. After all testing available today, this includes all imaging , blood work, and all genetic testing, which hasn’t been cheap, his diagnosis is still the same. And his prognosis is the same . We have waited over 2 years, waiting on answers, 2 years watching our baby boy decline, mentally and physically. Tucker has been diagnosed with a variant in his MT-TA gene , m.5630 A>G linked to Mitochondrial Disease( at this time his variant is unknown) and has a variant

c.1561 C>T p.(R521* in his COL6A2 gene, (again unknown variant ) we do not know which disease caused Tuckers regression in speech, fine motor skills, social skills.Nor do we know where either disease will lead him. Right now there is no known cure for either . Nor is there any known medication or treatments to slow down the regression. He’s on “medication”to help treat symptoms, again there is no proven information that these “medicines” even help. As his momma and daddy, we just can’t accept that. We have done research and know that there is something out there that could help , it’s just not offered here in the United States.
