Tui the Shar Pei Needs Urgent Surgery
Donation protected
Hi there! I am writing this on behalf of my sweet Shar Pei pup, Tui. We recently found out with the help of Dr. Linda at Wurtsboro Veterinary Clinic that our 7 month old puppy, Tui, needs pretty invasive and urgent surgery on her back leg.
She was born with her knee cap in the wrong position and if we do not get it corrected now there is a very good chance she won’t be able to ever walk correctly or without pain. We are so grateful that we finally found out the solution but unfortunately the timing and circumstances couldn’t be worse.
In addition to the surgery we then will need help boarding her with a physical therapist because we live in a three floor walk up. We cannot carry her up and down the stairs because unfortunately my husband recently broke his knee. Tui’s road to recovery will likely take around 12 weeks and we cannot do it without additional support.
We would be endlessly grateful of any contribution that you could donate. The costs of these expenses are too great for us to handle and I don’t want Tui to go without. We are hoping to get her the surgery in the next couple of weeks so she can begin living her life to the fullest.
