TukTuk Project: Salvation + Celebration for BM2019

This is a vehicle of dreams, of magic, of mysticism. Divine feminine energy in action, is creation and then manifestation.

VIBE: An intimate space to gather, to be artists, mixologists, witches, goddesses, and to travel together. Is it an illusion or reality? As you come across this vehicle, deep in the desert, you feel it’s divine energy, following your heart fully, you are attracted towards its pull. As you approach, you are embodied by a full sensory experience. You are transported, all 6 senses are activated, you become elevated. Every detail and ingredient is connected; an apothecary of hand harvested and highly curated earth elements. Hanging home grown burn bundles, dried herbs, flowers, and gifts from mother nature are placed throughout. These herbs, woods, flowers, resins, are incorporated into the all natural ingredients used to make a collection of body salves, oils, mists, and perfumes. The same ingredients are also used to make spirit bitters for the tonics, tinctures and cocktail creations, only alongside the purest plant spirits. Natural gases of neon light up and warm the space while fire and candles hanging within and scattered throughout create the atmosphere. As you sip your tincture, tonic, cocktail you also smell the burning bundles, the feeling of the magical herbs and potions soaking into your skin. You can see, touch, taste, hear, smell and feel each element taking us on the journey of divine feminine spirit.

FUNDS: will be used for helping pay for and order the tuktuk to arrive to San Francisco (guaranteed arrival the first week of August 2019). It is being custom manufactured overseas and will cost around ~ $6,000 USD for fabrication of the space. Funds will also cover, decor for the vibe, transport to and from burning man, storage in Oakland. I placed the 30% deposit of the tuktuk manufacturing amount today (new moon in gemini).

The involvement of this project is entirely up to you! If you can financially support, or know someone close to you who would like to contribute, please share. I feel it is important to consider who the support is coming from, and how it contributes energetically to the project. If you can support in other ways such as time or other resources (decor and experiential elements) please email me directly with what you feel called to be a part of, or what role you want in the project. There is no pressure to go outside of your bandwidth, you can also just come and enjoy the vibe that you are helping to create on the playa.

I will personally be managing the ordering, shipping, storing, transport, and vehicle pass needed for the tuktuk to and from Black Rock City and to be able to drive it on the playa for Burning Man 2019. This has all aligned and feels at ease to take on. Outside of burning man, I am open to planning other celebrations, projects for utilization of the vehicle.


CONTRIBUTION GIFTS:

Each backer that donates $111 + will receive a small goodie bag on playa (if you are attending) worth over $200 of items all made by the women putting this together. If you are not attending but still would like to donate, it will be mailed to you in September after the Tuk Tuk + crew of women return.

Each backer that donates $888 or more will receive a large, personal goodie bag filled with items from these women’s companies, including a hemp poncho, and a fractal dream catcher hand made by the women.

Any backer that donates $1300 or more will be able to use the Tuk Tuk for a personal, private event of their choosing at no cost in the San Francisco or surrounding area. The Tuk Tuk will have a small group of women tending to you and your guests for the event - creating cocktails, customer burn bundles for your guests, making the apothecary come to life, and more. This would be a wonderful choice for anyone looking to have a similar vibe at a wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, or to just throw an fun event in the fall!
