Tuktuk trip from Kenya to Capetown for Rangers
The four of us are currently filming a documentary and TikTok films about the effect of Covid on Africa’s wild spaces.
For the past 6 months we have been making adventure videos in Kenya and posting them on our channel .
Whilst making these films it has become apparent that the loss of income from tourism is hurting parks and conservancies. We started interviewing rangers and found many of them were working on reduced salaries, yet their workload had increased. The decline in tourism has meant less resources are available to protect vulnerable species and habitats. We thought this story deserved more attention, so began to film the documentary to raise awareness.
During the filming an idea evolved. Could we follow this story by buying a couple of tuk-tuks, getting some sponsorship stickers and driving from Kenya to Cape Town? Visiting reserves, parks and conservancies along the way, we would raise the profile of the rangers’ plight and money for the charity “For Rangers”.
Here is our trailer for the documentary: Trailer
We have bought the tuk-tuks and are currently modifying them in a garage to become safari tuk-tuks; from skid-plates to roll cages, they will be ready for anything.

As we have sunk all of our savings into this trip, we are currently fairly broke. This Go Fund Me page is to help us out with the inevitable unforseen costs that come with driving two tuktuks across Africa.
Thanks for your support, we greatly appreciate it.
