Tumbles - Wheel Chair

Salutaris Farm - 3D Files

Hi, My name is Brad Reed and my wife and I originally set out to create a 3D printed wheelchair for Tumbles.  It was to our surprise that his story went viral.  A variety of media sources stated the Innovation Center would supply Tumbles with wheelchairs for life for free.  This was never intended or implied.  My wife and I sought them as a client with an idea to print and help Tumbles.  We decided we would pick-up the bill for the materials and start a GoFundMe to give others the chance to help Tumbles.  It was our goal to give this puppy wheels and to share our design for others to print.

We have since been in contact with the family of Bubbles, the two leddged weiner dog, where I found my inspiration for the design that Tumbles is now learning to use.  https://www.facebook.com/Bubbles2legs/  We would like to start our goal for the materials to cover Tumble's chair; however, anything above that goal would go to help the effort taken on by this wonderful couple.  They have a 3D printer and are making chairs for dogs, as long as they have materials to feed to the printer.

It is our goal to eventually do the same by purchasing a 3D printer and offering chairs as long as we have funds to purchase materials.  The design part is easy to modify and turn-around for other pets in need and we would love to see external support for this project.  The initial design was open source and shared freely, which has made the effort for Tumbles, a true community project.  We want to continue this effort and spirit to help Tumbles and other pets as well.  Any help is greatly appreciated and soley goes to materials (we will purchase the 3D printer on our own funds, if this takes-off).  Thanks again for your support!
