Tumminello Fund

The world has lost a beautiful soul. Ed Tumminello of Wayne, New Jersey passed away on Sunday June 14th. He is survived by his wife Elaine, three wonderful sons Eddie, Nick and Justin as well as many other amazing family members and friends. Ed and Elaine were both born in Wayne and were high school sweethearts, graduating from Wayne Hills High-school. They remained in Wayne to raise their family. Ed and Elaine were not only husband and wife but were unquestionably each others best friend. Ed was a kind, giving and compassionate man who coached all three of his sons at the Wayne PAL.  Ed came to the rescue in later years as well, hiring all the neighborhood kids to work his carnival business so they could have a couple bucks in their pocket. As years went on Ed began to suffer severe complications from Type 2 diabetes including multiple amputations and kidney failure. As Ed’s condition worsened, the medical bills far surpassed the family’s capabilities. The Tumminello household embraced the motto all are welcome and we ask you today to please try to give back to a man that spent his whole life giving.  We understand that we live in uncertain and crazy times and appreciate anything anyone can do.
