Turkey earthquake survivors in Hatay, Turkey

Hi, my name is Emel Guner-Ekin and I am fundraising for my sister Huriye Guner-Cekic, her husband Baran Cekic and their 13 years old and 8 years old kids. They live in Hatay/Turkey where the epicenter of the recently happened devastating earthquake. They barely made out of their house when the earthquake struck unguarded in their sleep around 4:00 am on Monday, February 6th. We are happy and grateful that they found their way out of their apartment building where first three floor stairs were collapsed. They spent two days in their car until they could find a good time to evacuate the city to a safer area. They didn’t have any access to food/ blankets/ water/heat/shelter for almost 36 hours. 48 hours after the first earthquake hits, I can happily say that they now found a temporary shelter for themselves.

Both my sister and her husband are teachers at a public school and live in their house happily with their kids. They now lost their house with everything in it. I would like to help them to contribute to put their house together when they will try to heal mentally and financially from this.
