Thank you for taking the time to hear about our quest here at the Turley Duggan Academy of Irish Dance in Coventry.

The mission from this campaign is to raise enough funds to allow us to create a permanent studio for our Irish dance school and create a centre of excellence if you will. 

Over the years, we have been fortunate to have had use of some fantastic social club venues through the City where we train regularly, however due to the devastating effects of the Coronavirus pandemic, venues have been more of a challenge to secure due to various closures that have been out of our control.

The latest tier systems in the UK has thankfully meant indoor activities for under 18s can continue so we feel now is the time for us to start our quest and create a studio HQ which we can call our own.

As a School, we have accomplished so much and the sheer talent and determination from both our dancers and teachers has helped us achieve over 40 world titles along with national and regional recognition.  When we are not training or competing, you may find us putting on regular displays throughout the City which we love dearly and cannot wait to get back out there when the time is right.

This year has led to the cancellation of so many prestigious events for our dancers,  including the World Championships  and sadly they had competed and trained so hard for this opportunity. Nonetheless its the community spirit that we have that has kept us determined and focused and most of all kept each other smiling.  From celebrating big birthdays, welcoming babies to the crew and all things in between (dancing through a Pandemic to add to list)....we are Team Turley Duggan and we could not be more proud!

By supporting this campaign, not only are you contributing to our studio fund but you are also supporting a consistent training environment for our Students where we can nurture them and help them grow and flourish as dancing professionals. 

Initially, we are looking at raising funds to secure a lease on a venue for 5 years, however if we can secure funds to commit to a longer lease/ building prospect that would be simply amazing.
