Turn electricity back on for Birdie Canter
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Margaret and I am trying to help a friend, Roberta (Birdie) Canter raise funds to pay an electric bill. Her electricity has been turned off due to non-payment. We have exhausted all other possibilities (AEP payment assistance program, PIP, Community Action, etc.) The Salvation Army did pay $150 toward the bill, for which we are very grateful. I asked AEP if a payment plan was possible, but they said no. If Birdie is able to pay $1,370.13 to AEP before April 25, they will open a new account for her and her electricity will be restored. After that date, the cost increases. Birdie volunteers at the Nelsonville Food Cupboard (pantry) with me and has a tiny dog, Spud. They live in a small apartment.I f you would like more details or have any questions, I can be reached at [email redacted].
Thank you for any help you are able to provide.
