The Silent Fight Documentary

Hey everybody my name is Zoe Markos I’m an actor, writer, director & producer from Melbourne who has been living with Epilepsy since I was 12-13 years old and was only officially diagnosed three weeks before my 18th birthday and that was 11 years ago now.

I have recently reached my three year seizure free milestone and I feel that this means it is time to make a change.

Which brings me to why I need your help! The Silent Fight will be a film documentary that I will be directing and producing in conjunction with my entertainment company Let Me Talk Entertainment.

The documentary will follow a fictional young woman (portraying elements of my life) who has been diagnosed with Epilepsy which forces her to go on a journey to find out more about her condition, ten years after her diagnosis.

The journey she takes will have us learn about five unique stories of real life participants who are living with Epilepsy and also medical professionals who are currently researching and working tirelessly to find us a cure for this disability.

In order for us to make this documentary and to support our creators like our cinematographer, actors, crew and other additional costs like flights to other states to be able to film the stories of those who live outside of Melbourne , distribution costs & and any additional costs we may incur we will need donations to help us get this project up and running.

Any donation big or small will go along way with this project. 10% of money raised will go towards the Epilepsy Foundation.

Lets fight to remove the stigma surrounding Epilepsy and help change the lives of Epileptics and encourage them to share their stories and no longer keep the condition a secret.
