Hello,

Our names are Sam and Crystal. We are raising funds for our beautiful mother’s ovarian cancer treatment.

Two days ago, our mom Lynette was diagnosed with a basketball-sized, malignant ovarian tumor. The tumor is now pressing up against her vital organs, blood vessels, and nerves. She is in a tremendous amount of pain and is unable to work until she gets the treatment that she needs.

Her occupation does not offer paid time off or short-term disability. Our financial situation coupled with the unexpected cancer diagnosis is placing a tremendous amount of stress on our family who wishes to be emotionally and physically available for our mother, and on our mother, who deserves to be resting in a calm environment before her surgery. The funds would be used for medical bills, mortgage payments, gas, food, and other cancer-related expenses.

Our mother has sacrificed so much and worked so hard to provide for our family. She always goes to work with a positive attitude and put so much into her dream of finally owning a home. After 15 years of saving, financial hardship, and saving again, my parents were able to afford a house for our family and hopefully pass it down to us. This is the most financially and emotionally stable our family has ever been and I don’t want cancer to ruin all that my parents have worked for.
