Help Teens be Conservation Leaders!
We're a non-profit that needs your help to empower and support the next generation of conservationists.
This summer, 25 teens from across the country will get together for the Trout Unlimited Teen Summit, an experiential learning and leadership conference that builds confidence and can change lives.
The Summit gives participants the opportunity to develop their own ideas and strategies in peer-on-peer planning sessions and to meet like-minded teens. They brainstorm ways to tackle tough conservation issues on their home waters and discuss generational challenges like how to get their peers outside and invested in the natural world and in TU. The teens leave with the skills, confidence, and passion needed to make a difference in their communities.
See how meaningful this experience is to the teens by visiting www.tu.org/teensummit to read more about their experiences.
In order to ensure that all families can afford the summit, the cost to attend is kept very low. Teens pay $200 for 5 days. The remaining funds needed must be raised by the TU’s Headwaters Youth Program. Your donation will pay for:
-Van rentals and transportation costs
-5 days of meals
-Lodging at Camp Watanopa, a rustic outdoors camp
-Costs associated with field trips
We seek financial assistance from TU councils, chapters, volunteers, and anyone that would like to support these young men and women .
The Teen Summit is one of TU's most unifying events because it involves young TU members from chapters across the country. Can you sponsor a teen today?
