Greg and Chet's Medical Fund

I have decided to set up this page for my dear friend Mary Pinheiro and her husband Ryan. Their two young children were both recently diagnosed with ecoli and are at Maine Med in Portland.  Greg is 2 1/2 years old and is currently in intensive care.  Chet is 10 months old and is on the Barbara Bush unit.  Greg was sick for 11 days and had muliple visits to the doctor and hospital before he was finally tested for ecoli.  His kidneys are in need of outside help and need several weeks of dialysis before he can be moved to another unit in the hospital.   Greg and Chet both have hemolytic uremic syndrome caused by the ecoli toxin. I  can't imagine the costs of having one child in the hospital for extended time, let alone two! Friends,family, strangers let us please come together to help the Pinheiro's with a small portion of their medical costs during this difficult time.
