Pediatric Medical Mission
Donation protected
In just a few weeks I’ll be leaving for Solomon Islands where I will be spending 1 month caring for children. I will be there to support five of our Pediatricians from Johns Hopkins. Solomon Islands is currently challenged providing healthcare to children due to a lack of Pediatricians in the country. We will be providing both medical care to children and educating Doctors and Nurses in providing pediatric medical care.
I am very passionate about traveling on this medical mission with a group of expert Doctors and helping these children in need. The hardship is the expenses related to this. Johns Hopkins does not provide any financial assistance or support for their Physicians or Nurses for these medical missions. There are yearly trips to provide Pediatric care to the countries of Nigeria, Kenya, Guyana and Haiti; this is a first time journey to Solomon Islands.
This trip will be extremely expensive both with travel expenses and providing care to the children of Solomon Islands. I will be most appreciative, and thankful, for any financial support that can be provided!
