Help Us Help Our Neighbors in Need
Donation protected
Edit:
Thanks to all of the donations, Miracle Movers was able to truck 1.5 million pounds of supplies to WNC in just eight days. Since then, I (Adam Tennant) have been working with some people here in the Charlotte area as well as some groups in WNC, specifically Cody Sutton and Baptists on Mission in Spruce Pine. We have acquired the lease to 33 acres to set up as base camp as we have been hand delivering and setting up generators for communities that will be without power for 6-8 months.
I increased our goal to $30k because I know the need is great. I have also been working with some 501(c)3 groups so I now am able to roll the donations into those tax free. Our biggest need now is acquiring side by sides that can get up to at least 55mph on the roads and can still navigate the very difficult terrain. We think we can get them for $15k a piece.
When I acquire these, they will be kept on this property for me to use when delivering and also for locals to use for similar purposes. When we are done - don’t know how long that will be - we will donate to a group up there.
This is a Kingdom mission. We have seen miracle after miracle and can’t wait to see how God continues to move. It is our mission to help those in WNC who are helping their neighbors. We want to equip them! Thanks!
Hi, I’m Adam with Miracle Movers Charlotte. Thank you so much for the support so far. As of today (10/4) we have already trucked 1.1 million pounds of supplies. 402k pounds of that was then flown to WNC. Up to this point we have worked with Operation AirDrop as their trucking wing for this operation. They have run their lap of the race (excellently) and are now passing the baton to us as this is becoming more of a trucking operation. We are now partnering with Altitude Project. We will be supplying their warehouse and they will be getting supplies where they need to go via smaller truck convoys, helicopters and ATVs so we can get to the remote areas. Please consider giving to Miracle Movers so we can keep our trucks on the road until no longer needed. The estimate of $3k a day was low. We have had four trucks on the road every day, and 10-12 employees. Our schedule is mostly open so we need to fund this operation. Thanks so much for your sacrifice.
