Medical Bills for Cancer
Donation protected

I am a three-time cancer survivor as of January 2018. It hasn’t been easy in any sense, but I am so blessed to still be here! However, my pride has been hurting me lately, and it’s time for me to ask for some help. After insurance’s portion of the bill (a privilege I’m grateful to have), my medical debts to remove the tumor have still added up to ~$8,200 out of pocket. I did my best to work with the hospital on setting up a payment arrangement, but because of my household income (which is irrelevant for me alone, since this is my financial cross to bare), I was denied assistance, and the payment would be at least $200/mo. until it is completely paid off.

I work full-time at Sprint, while also working hard on fulfilling my dream of playing/writing/recording music, going to therapy for my mental health, and helping to support my girlfriend through cosmetology school. Next courses of action will be another job, followed by bankruptcy, which will completely screw my credit score that I’ve worked the past five years to get to where it is. Any contribution would mean that I’d get to continue pursuing my dream and education.

If you have any questions, reach out. I’ll appreciate any help I can get. If I fall short of my goal, I’m going to fight collections to settle. If I surpass my goal, I will be donating all excess proceeds to the Ronald McDonald house, which helps underpriveleged children get the medical attention they deserve without exploiting lower-income families for money they don’t have.
If you’ve read this far, thank you so much for giving this campaign even a moment of your time. It means more to me than words can describe.
