Volunteering in Tanzania

My name is Alexander and Jane Goodall “Dr.Jane” has been my hero, my mentor, and my friend for the majority of my life. I am so grateful that I’ve known Dr. Jane my whole life. And, I’m so proud of the work I was able to do (with my classmates after founding Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots chapters at my middle school & high school.

Tanzania, where all of Dr. Jane’s work began, is still an extremely important hub of her work. Now, I have been offered the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to intern for Jane Goodall in Tanzania. I’m fundraising to help with costs of this volunteer program. I’m working on various projects to help animals, people, and the environment in Tanzania. Anything you can donate helps, but I also wanted to figure out a way to include my friends and family in this volunteer adventure so I’ve thought of some things I could give back.
