My mom with stage 4 breast cancer

Hey Everyone, first of all thank you for taking time to read my story. I’m Chaitanya Sigatapu, from Port Arthur, Texas. We’re a family of three. My dad, Bhaskar Rao Sigatapu works in at Zachry Sabine Pass, and my mom, Sasikala Guntamukkala, a stay at home mom. I’m in my Senior Year, Class of 2024 at Port Neches-Groves Highschool, my mom has been battling cancer for the past few years. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung/breast cancer May of 2021, She’s currently being treated at MD Anderson cancer center. She was responding well to the treatment up until now but things have changed recently and we had to rush her to the emergency room last week because she had difficulty breathing. She was redirected to MD Anderson cancer center, Houston, TX for better care on September 6th,2023 . We were later informed that her disease was progressed and the cancer reached to her lungs. Her lungs are constantly being filled up by fluid discharge from the cancer in her lungs. Doctors had to perform pleural effusion everyday on her both lungs to drain the fluid from her lungs so that she can breathe better. I want to take a moment here to appreciate everyone at MD Anderson cancer center for providing the best care there is. My dad stopped going to work so that he can aid my mom In the hospital. All though my moms medical insurance covers her medical expenses and hospital bills but we're still drowning in medical bills that aren’t covered by her insurance, co-pay bills and etc. As of now, 09/19/23, she's in a critical condition where doctors said that there isn't much they can do for her, I'm reaching out to ya'll to request any financial assistance you can offer. No matter how small your contribution is, it would make a difference to us. Your thoughts, prayers, and well-wishes for her greatly appreciated.
