Help us get out of debt

We're a married couple in our 30s and had several years of bad luck which lead us into crippling debt. Our job situations have been spotty for several reasons, which is why we didn't have a fixed income for years. My wife was sick for almost a year and her therapy ate up a lot of our ressources. We're trying to build a new life for ourselves, but we're stuck with a lot of debt from the past years. We're very much aware that nobody owes us anything, but any help is greatly appreciated.
