Help Rebuild Lives After Devastating Fire

Hello friends, family and to anyone that can help our family.

On January 22, 2025, before sunrise, our entire apartment complex caught fire, destroying the entire apartment and everything in it. We were on the top floor of the building that put our apartment closest to the burning roof, that is now completely burned to ashes. I was safe at work, but my one year old son, my mother and my two sisters were all awakened by the flames, and smoke. They had to be rescued by the dozens of firefighters through a window. We are more than blessed to be alive to share our story, while some residents devastatingly lost their lives to this incident. No belongings were salvageable and in this brutally cold weather we were grateful to neighbors that helped cover the baby and my sisters with blankets.

Just two weeks ago, we celebrated my baby’s first birthday and we were showered with so much love and gifts for him, which all went to flames. As a new mother, I could never imagine the feelings that I had when I got the call that my baby and my family had to be pulled from the top floor of a burning building while I was away. My young sister is in school and that will come with its own challenges. Together, we are in desperate need of financial assistance. Following and in the midst of this traumatic experience, we will need to completely rebuild our lives.
