Ian's Story
Donation protected
On January 10th 2022, my younger brother Ian suffered life-changing injuries. Following a Car Crash involving Horses on a slip road of the M56 Motorway. Ian was on his way to work when two horses escaped a local settlement near the slip road. Three cars were involved and unfortunately, Ian came out worse. He was crushed by one of the horses. Without the quick response from Paramedics, Ian would not be with us. He suffered two cardiac arrests, major brain trauma and a punctured lung. Ian spent months on Life Support at Salford Royal Hospital. He has endured countless surgeries on his brain. He was also in a Coma for a few months. Ian was then transferred to the Walton Centre in Liverpool. Where he has received amazing treatment, but things are now gearing up for him to be discharged from there. Ian has lost his sight and will not be able to walk again. He can luckily speak again, but his memory has been affected by his injuries.
We have turned to Go Fund Me, as no solicitor is willing to pick up the case. So cannot make a Personal Injury claim on behalf of my brother. Ian will need 24/7 care, which currently means he will not be able to come home to us. We would like to raise as much money as possible. To help bring Ian home and give him some quality of life.
