Tweak Easy East: Your Local Overdose Prevention Site
Donation protected
St. John’s is a city known for its cooperation and resilience, but like many others across so-called Canada, we are facing our own growing overdose crisis. Every day people in our community struggle against the policing and criminalization of drug use, making it riskier and more difficult to access support when desired.
That’s why we’re starting St. John’s first Overdose Prevention Site—a safe, supportive space where people can do drugs without fear of judgement or overdose, with access to life-saving naloxone, harm reduction supplies, trained harm reduction advocates, and community.
We are asking for your help to make this a reality. We aim to raise $10,000, providing the essential supplies and staffing needed to launch the site and sustain it through its first nights of operation.
This is just the beginning of a community-driven effort to save lives, reduce harm, and bring people together.
