Twin Cities Skaters kickstart

Hey yall, my name is James & it's my 34th birthday on Friday the 13th. I'm crowdfunding to #makeamericaskateagain; but this time even bigger & better than before.

 

While the hashtag is a national effort, this paticular kickstart package is to help the solidify the local rollerskate scene here in Minnesota with TCS.

 

TCS Mission: To grow and extend the art of roller skating to the local community (specifically inner-city youth schools & parks) achieve growth within the community with multiple avenues of roller skating services including: indoor/outdoor pop up sessions, rollerskate rental, skate lessons, special performances, and part exchange & maintinance.

 

 

Estimated Funds are needed for four main things needed THIS season:

- Filing fees and paperwork start-up costs (1k)

- Cover costs of building a rollerskate storage shed ($500-1k)

- Aide to purchasing a TCS rollerskate trailer (3k) used

- Compensation for TCS start up staff (1-2k)

With Rollergarden shut down, the city has a rollerskating void that has been yearning for a central, official rollerskate outlet.

*All kinds of donations welcomed! Any additional funds beyond current projected goal will be reinvested back to the MASA vision with more rentals rollerskates, special projects, truck maintenance, and rewards back to the community like free services. This is just the start, there are larger goals that exist! This first milestone will be essential.
