We are closed due to the Covid-19 virus and need your help to get us through this difficult time. All funds raised will contribute toward rent and monthly operational obligations for an established business with expenses and no income.
Twin Peaks Tavern is a neighborhood bar in the heart of the Castro in San Francisco. Rich with history as the first gay bar in the United States to have floor to ceiling clear glass windows allowing the patrons to be seen, which helped charge the gay movement in the early 70s and the bar received Landmark status because of that bold action.
In our 48 years of serving the community, we have offered regulars the comforts of home, and visitors a warm welcome to the neighborhood.
We are very appreciative of any amount and every donation made and look forward to when we can gather and exchange stories over drinks as we’ve done so many times before.
