Twin tragedy – help a devastated mother

On the 18th of February 2024, our lives changed forever. Our beautiful twin girls – Macey and Riley – were tragically involved in a car accident, returning home to Perth after a visit to Kalgoorlie. Their mother, Rachel, was the sole survivor.

Macey and Riley brought us so much love and joy, and as hard as it is without them, our lives were made better by their short existence. They were vibrant, cheeky, and beautiful young girls who had so much life and promise ahead of them. The impact that those two little lives had on our family is immeasurable, and the weight of their absence is felt every single day.

There is nothing that we can do to change this devastating situation, but we want to try and make Rachel’s life a little easier as she grieves and rebuilds. Rachel, who supported and cared for her two girls their entire lives gave her all! As she starts coming to terms with this tragic loss, we want to ensure Rachel is looked after and can slowly start to navigate life without Macey and Riley.

All funds raised by this GoFundMe will be used to help Rachel. We want her to be able to manage a world without her two precious girls, and to have something to start off this process. Rachel will need time to grieve and the tools to start again, and any generous donations that are made will aid in this.
