Flood Disaster Cleanup & Equipment Replacement

This week, as many of you know, we had a massive flood rip through all 3 communities (Marshfield, Plainfield and Cabot) that make up our youth sports group. This also includes the 2 schools in those towns, Twinfield and Cabot.

Twinfield-Cabot Youth Sports (TCYS) sustained extensive damage to all three of our fields. Additionally in the process, field equipment and sporting goods were damaged or floated away and lost. Due to this, there is much need for major field repair and equipment replacement.

We know this comes at a time when many of you have already donated money to other deserving organizations, people and businesses, so we don't take this request lightly.

We are very concerned that without financial help from each community in our sports program, there will be no more fall sports for our children to enjoy. Sports are so much bigger than just a game. There are many valuable lessons to be learned, and these kids shouldn't have to go without, while all of their peers from other towns are enjoying the benefits (and fun) that sports bring.

We are a small sports group with very limited funds, so anything you can manage is very, very appreciated. We will never be able to repay you for your generosity, but hopefully the smiles on the children's faces will be enough. Please share as well. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
