Twins Academy Gym

Hi All

As many of you will be aware there was a fire at Twins Academy Gym in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The gym was burnt to the ground and everything inside lost in the flames. That included the ring and all boxing bags, pads, running machines, weight machines, sentimental items such as boxing belts, memorabilia and fighters personal training gear and equipment. The damage is a total loss of 25k.

The gym is ran by Head Coach Jordan Williams and named after his Twin girls Halle & Mila and along with his young Son Clay, they have pretty much all grown up in the gym. Jordan has put the last 8 years of his life building Twins Academy, training professional fighters and creating a stable that has seen the gym go from strength to strength gaining a glowing reputation not just here in the North East but throughout the whole of the UK.

The fire has not only damaged the building and it's contents but Jordans livelihood. That is why we have set up this page to come together as friends of Jordan and Twins Academy along with it's stable of fighters to raise funds that will help purchase all the above equipment, so we can relocate the gym to another premises and continue the Twins Academy journey.

We are looking to raise 25k which will go towards replacing the equipment lost in the fire and we are asking local businesses, friends and the whole boxing community to donate what they can to help restore Twins Academy. Blood, sweat and tears have gone into the last 8 years and we re not about to throw the towel in just yet. '' One more round ''
