Helping Hollie

I started this GoFundMe account to ease some of the financial burden someone I care for dearly is facing at this time.

Instead of just enjoying her success in school and looking forward to graduation in December, Hollie Olivier is having to make decisions she wasn’t prepared for. She is having to plan her beautiful mother’s funeral without any insurance and take care of her two nephews and one niece.

Hollie’s mom Brenda Olivier is in the final stages of her journey here on earth. Her cancer returned with a vengeance and has spread through out her body.

Of course only God knows the exact date and time, but her caregivers here on earth believe it to be soon.

Brenda “Ardoin” Olivier has always been a strong woman. A loving daughter, sister, niece, cousin, mother, grandmother and friend. She has been faced with so much adversity in the last 10 years but always kept her faith strong. From raising her three grandchildren, to losing the love of her life “Kenneth” in May of 2012 due to a massive heart attack, her home burning down in 2014, relocating, breast cancer, chemotherapy , radiation , becoming septic 2017 and dealing with life in general, she always managed to keep things together for her family along with help from the apple of her eye, her beautiful, sweet Hollie. Every day she persevered. Every day she prayed.

Brenda put everyone’s needs before hers. As such, she did not think about her needs and will be leaving this world without the funds to cover the funeral cost.

Please consider helping Hollie now as she navigates thru this most difficult time. We would be incredibly humbled and grateful for any donation. All funds raised will go directly to Hollie to cover Brenda’s funeral expenses.
