Two children in search of their dreams

Hello, my name is Luz, my children were born in Venezuela, and there is no music taught in schools there, arriving in a country like the USA has meant awakening this passion that they did not know they had, Sebastian, 17 years old, is an outstanding musician in clarinet and saxophone, he was accepted into his high school's honor band since his first year, he was Section Leader of the clarinets in his second year and currently won the position of Drum Mayor (director of the marching band), he has also been selected by UT for its young composers program, he has made outstanding progress in competitions such as the UIL (https://www.uiltexas.org/about ) and is currently being nominated to audition for the National Young Orchestra of the United States in NY.

Sofia, 14 years old, is in her first year of high school and has already been accepted into the Honor Band and is trying to follow in her brother's footsteps. What many don't know is that for both of them to grow in their musical education, school resources are not enough. Private lessons,

instruments with good performance, and parts that improve the sound of their instruments (mouthpieces, reeds, etc.) are necessary. All of these components are very expensive and that is why we are doing this fundraiser since Sofia needs a professional-level flute and Sebastian needs parts to restore his clarinet that we bought used 3 years ago.

We appreciate any contribution, no matter how small, will add up to fulfilling their dreams.
