Two found in need by Canadian County Police

Hello again friends, family, and supporters. We received a call from El Reno Animal control after they were notified of 2 dogs discovered by the Canadian County Police department while on on a routine call. Canadian County is a rural area that does not have animal welfare. Angel Fund Okc was created to support these officers as they come across these situations. Without any hesitation we approved these two girls into our program with faith that with all of you we will raise the funds to help them! These girls have been without care for sometime. Shorty after the call we were informed that their owner was deceased.

These two who we are calling Thelma and Louise for now need are in desperate and immediate medical care.

They are covered in ticks, severely emaciated, and Thelma is unable to open her mouth due to the amount of porcupine quills she has imbedded in her muzzle, face, and eyes. We are unsure at this time if she will be able to keep her right eye. It is extremely damaged, infected, and has broken quills stuck inside the eye itself. Thelma appears to have had several litters and her teeth are won to nubs. This older lady just wants love! Despite her horrible condition her tail has not stopped. Louise is doing a bit better and does not have as many quills in her muzzle but is still facing starvation and severe parasite overload.

We are afraid that they have been this way for some time as the lesions around the quills are starting to abscess. Their bodies are weak, infected, and dehydrated.

These two have a long road ahead of them! We will fight beside the both of them the ENTIRE way!

We are incredibly thankful for the Canadian County Department and El Reno Animal Control for fighting for them and notifying the right people to get these girls the care they deserve. YOU ARE THEIR ANGELS!
