Two little fighters, George and Noah

Donation protected
In the early hours of Wednesday the 14th of June 2023, Noah Ashton Triffitt and George Marcus Triffitt were born premature via emergency c-section at the Flinders Medical Centre (FMC), South Australia. These two little fighters overcame the impossible to be born at 29 weeks. After just 16 hours on this earth, Noah passed away in the arms of his loving parents Amy and Brandan. George still has a long way to go and is currently in the NICU at the FMC, where he will remain to recieve life saving medical treatment until he is ready to come home. He has already proved his strength with making small improvements everyday.

A little bit about their story:
When Amy was only 20 weeks pregnant, her amniotic sac for Noah had begun to rupture, after an admission to the local Mount Gambier hospital, Amy was admitted to the Flinders Medical Centre, where she has remained since she was 22 weeks pregnant.
Amy and both boys defied all odds, the boys continuing to grow, and Amy not going in to premature labour, made it to 29 weeks gestation, when it was decided that it was time to bring these two beautiful boys in to the world.

While Amy has been in FMC, her fiance Brandan has been in Mount Gambier, only able to travel up to see Amy a few times due to financial stress and caring for their 2 year old son Charlie. He has been working 2 jobs to make ends meet to support their young family. They have been living off one income for several months now due to Amy not being able to work and despite their hardship, have not once complained. Along with this, Amy's mum Trish needed to take time off work to support Amy and has spent countless hours travelling to and from Adelaide.

At the moment, times are tough for everyone, but the families of both Brandan and Amy are hoping to raise some much needed money to assist this beautiful family with their ongoing living costs as these costs won't stop despite their circumstance. This assistance would enable Brandan and Charlie travel up to Adelaide more regularly to see Amy and George, assist with their ongoing medical costs, funeral expenses for little Noah and to just help take the pressure off them so they can can begin to process their grief after losing Noah and focus on getting George well enough to come home.

On behalf of our families, thank you xx
