Two Members of Witkowski Fam Need Surgery

Hi, my name is Amy Witkowski and I'm reaching out for help in what has been a very difficult year for my family. I am under a large financial strain & trying to find solutions. I care for & live with my mom. We've always managed to work through financial emergencies together. Recently too many things have happened too closely together & so I'm reaching to you, my family and friends.

This fundraiser is for my 7 year old dog named Jojo. I've never married or had kids so Jojo is the closest thing to a child I have in my life. Last year Jojo tore the ACL in her back right leg. My mother and I manged to come up with the money to pay for that surgery. The problem is that Jojo has now torn the ACL in her other hind leg. She is scheduled for surgery on January 22nd. She is currently on pain meds twice a day until we can get her in for the surgery. Evidently it's not uncommon for a dog to have the other knee go out once they've had one knee fail, even after the first knee is repaired.

My mother & I could make this work if it weren't for the fact that I had brain surgery 8 weeks ago & will need a second surgery in March. Finances are very tight with my personal medical expenses & the time I've had to take off of work. I'm in the process of paying the $5000 out of pocket expenses for the first surgery & will owe an additional $5000 after the next surgery. This makes paying for Jojo's surgery really difficult.

It's not an option to me to leave my dog suffering. I'm hoping some of you can help me here. I'm also going to start a second job delivering groceries up until my next surgery to bring in some additional funds.

I'd appreciate even the smallest amount of help. Even just sharing this fundraiser would be appreciated.
