Two Spirit Gathering Lakota/Dakota

The Two Spirit communities of the Lakota, Dakota and Nakota peoples are gathering together  August 4th through 6th on the Pine Ridge reservation.

We are raising money to help offset the expenses incurred with such a gathering. Funds will be used to cover the costs of food etc.   We will also be offering grants to cover travel expenses for elders.

This is our second homecoming and it coincides with the Pine Ridge Pow Wow. It is a time for Two Spirit folks to share and gather support from one another. 

During our our time at Standing Rock there was an official welcoming home for the Two Spirit community. With this honoring, comes a responsibility to serve our greater community. By gathering together we can work to identify the best ways to accomplish this goal.
