Help Two Trans Women Secure Stable Housing

Hey, my name's Jess. This fundraiser is for me and my girlfriend Ella. The two of us have known each other for 15 years; we grew up together in middle & high school, we helped each other transition, and four years ago, we fell in love. She's the love of my life, and I'd do anything for her.

As of five months ago, we no longer had any income as a couple. Ella lost her job to COVID, and I had my hours cut to a single shift a week before I left the company. We've been making ends meet through the goodwill of our roommate, but the lease expires May 31st and we’ve gone through what little we had saved.

I’ve just secured a job and my girlfriend has a few prospects lined up, but even in our best case scenario, those paychecks won't come in quickly enough to secure us an apartment. That's where you come in. If we can reach our target, then my job alone will provide enough to keep us housed indefinitely. Here’s what that looks like:

2 Months Electricity = $240

2 Months Internet = $120

Replacing Furniture = $100

Replacing Dishes = $50
