Medical Expense

My mom has always been the backbone of our family. She is always the one right there to help others when they are in need. Well now it is time that she is in need. She probably will not be happy with me doing this but while my mom is recovering from this major surgery she needs some help. Mom was diagnosed in July with severe diverticulitis. Since then she has been in and out of the doctors and hospital. She hasn't been able to work a full week since July and as of August hasn't been able to work at all. She ended up having to have emergency surgery last Sat and since we have found out that half of her supplies will not be covered under her insurance. So here this leave my mom with her regular bills plus all the added bills with the medical. Mom has no income coming in right now. We are trying to get her on disability but that can take a few months and mom needs help now. Mom has always been the giving one and had never asked for anything in return. I am asking as her daughter to please help her out as stress from all this is not what she needs in the recovery phase. I called our local DSS and was informed by them that the only emergency help they provide is to the illegal immigrants who are pregnant. I know that God will keep his promise to take care of his own and I know my mother is his child.
